This time BOHAUS dives into the dance style of waacking.
Waacking is a dance form originating from the LBGTQIA+ clubs in LA. Mainly recognizable through striking a pose, personal style, characterization and armrotations. Being rooted in punking, which stands for emotional expression, Waacking is celebrated as an outlet for personal expression, feeling and drama. It takes great influence from jazz or even martial arts and gymnastics.
Anna will guide you through the foundational elements of waacking. Get ready to drill, pose and be dramatic. 🤭🔥You’ll play with feminine and or masculine energies and discover how your own personality shapes your movement. Because waacking is a club style, we will also work on freestyle tools you can actually use on the dance floor 🔥
